I was introduced to carnatic music at an early age by my mother, Smt. Saraswathi Ranganathan. I received my initial training under Neyveli Sri. Santhanagopalan for a period of 9 years, starting from 1984. Later, I continued my musical training from Sri. S. Kasturi Rangan (one of the foremost disciples of Madurai Sri. T. N. Seshagopalan).
Apart from basic and advanced vocal lessons, I can also teach tukkaddas, Thiruppugazhs, Abhangs and the entire Shayamaladandakam Stotram in Ragamaalika format.
By profession, I am a Materials Scientist, but currently a stay-at-home Mom.
